| The Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts is a not-for-profit organization that provides studio space, art supplies and support for people with developmental disabilities who are interested in developing a career in the fine arts. At the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, part of our mission is to provide a supportive, non-competitive environment in which people with developmental disabilities are enabled to grow, learn and to experience the joy and fulfillment of creative self-expression. It is also the Centre’s goal to bring theses voices into the larger community of artists and viewers in Edmonton. These six artists have all demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for their art and have been chosen to be the first group of artists to publicly represent the Nina Haggerty Centre in recognition of their dedication and hard work..
