Painting is a natural response to our emotion and intellect. Painting is not a loaf of bread to fill our hunger, but a gulp of water to quench our spiritual thirst. Beyond sensual pleasure, painting can be a song looming over our lives revealing reality, imagination and subconscious. Painting has an invisible power, melding our consciousness and emotion with persuasive lyrics and sympathetic melody. This power comes from nature because painting imitates it in the abstract or the representational.
I have painted landscape because as humans, we are a part of nature. We came from nature and will eventually return to it. To be in nature, I will keep painting beautiful and meaningful landscapes, amalgamating the sense of spirituality and the truth of realism.
