Theatre Foyer
The creation of painting and drawings is my meditation, a release of anxieties, energies and spiritual runoff. I hope to trap these disposed emotions on the surface as an important form of communication. I am influenced and inspired by the automatic surrealist and abstract expressionist aesthetics. I work very intuitively, often only thinking of colour and composition when creating artwork. I let subconscious feelings emerge in the artwork expressing the struggles with complex challenges pertaining to existing as a human being. I am hoping that other people will grasp the type of feelings I am referencing as we all share the human experience. The process of the creation and communication is what drives me to live every day. |
