Royal Visit, 1939, Tickets to the Royal Visit in Edmonton

Thousands of people lined Portage Avenue, later renamed Kingsway, on Friday June 2, 1939 to watch the King and Queen pass by in their limousine. Truckloads of people from surrounding communities drove to enjoy the day.
